royalphantom asked: Ahh, your comic advice in the last post is really helpful, but it seriously blew my mind when you said you give yourself 10 minutes per panel! Your drawings are perfection in every way, detail, perspective, anatomy and I cannot understand anatomy even after art college. When I do comic pages it takes 100 trillion years, you are magical or something, do you have any words of wisdom about anatomy and/or perspective because I just can't and you're a incredible artist
Oh no, it takes a looooot longer than ten minutes altogether, I just switch from panel to panel every ten minutes! I wish I were faster, but it basically does take a whole week per page. Sketches are done ahead of time in chunks so that we can make sure the pages flow together and finalize the dialogue. I’ll post some in progress stuff when I get back (on my phone in the airport now). Thank you for your kind words! My best advice is keep drawing comics! They are a serious artistic workout. And start with something short, because then you’ll have something finished. And don’t redraw, at least not for a while. Keep moving forward! Ganbatte!
